Child-Friendly ski Lessons
Your little ones will be delighted
Your little ones will blossom safely and learn skiing at their own pace thanks to a few lessons given by competent instructors whose teaching skills are well established. Since 1945, the ESF has been teaching skiing to children of all levels and ages.
Toddlers can be looked after by the Piou-Piou Club, which is a place to learn but also a daycare. In places specially arranged for children, your kid will be able to enjoy sliding on the snow for the first time, with a soft approach. Then, from age 6, young skiers can start the real lessons and go down their first slopes, still being properly supervised by our instructors.

Lessons can take different forms depending on what you think is best for your child. In each Portes du Soleil resort, the ESF offers group lessons in small numbers to effectively take care of each student. But you also have the opportunity to book private lessons so that your child can evolve alone or with a few other students.
When they feel ready for it, they can even be prepared for competition !
If your little one is more attracted by boards, note that the ESF also offers snowboard lessons. This newer discipline is a phenomenal success and is just as great as skiing. According to a popular misconception, snowboarding is a difficult activity... well actually, this sport is just as accessible as its distant cousin, especially if you start very young.
